SEIGE will be at the Kentucky State Fair again this year. We will be having our annual seminar soon. Details will be posted when the schedule has been set.
Our monthly meetings are at the Main branch of the Louisville Free Public Library at 301 W. York St. Louisville, Ky on the second Saturday of each month from 12:00pm until 1:00pm. Ask the security guard for meeting location, although it is usually in the mezzanine.
SEIGE mission for the people in the world of EPILEPSY,
we started this group to educate two major groups of people;
1} Epilepsy patients: are brothers and sisters with epilepsy and the history of seizures
goes back in time so far but NO one tells you the truth and makes you realize how special you are and
the gift you have for the future, this is why SEIGE wants you to look at yourself and communicate to others
about the truth what you see, feel and want society to change for the world of neurology and SEIZURES.
2) Society and People that have to watch us go through a seizure need be understanding and work with us.
Learning the truth about Epilepsy and their triggers and most of all how to handle a person when
they have one in your presence is very vital. But how you treat that person after the first seizure is the bridge
of communication. This what SEIGE will work with family, employer,church anytime in sight.
We are all beautiful people and with Epilepsy we have another road to tackle a "spur" of the moment illness.
As a support group we have links to help you get medicine free, utilities and many more things in the time of need. Time is BIGGEST item GOD gave everytime you have a seizure you lose time, lets work together.
